Amanda Lee Barber
Operations Associate

Amanda Lee Barber joined the Cultural Development Corporation in September 2008 as the Operations Associate. She is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations at Flashpoint and Source including general facilities maintenance, managing vendor relationships, and providing administrative support. Amanda also maintains the venue calendars, schedules rentals, and assists with rental contracts.

Recently, Amanda completed a yearlong internship as the Production Management Intern at the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC). While at STC, she was part of their ground breaking 2007-2008 Season with the opening of the company’s second theatre Sidney Harman Hall. Amanda also has additional experience as the Production Management Intern at La Jolla Playhouse (LJP) in her hometown of San Diego, CA. Her favorite moment of the internship involved finding a dog to play the part of "Toto" for LJP’s updated version of The Wiz directed by Des McAnuff.

Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma in Arts Management with a double minor in Musical Theatre and Business. While attending TU, she spent a semester studying at Goldsmith’s College in London and received an Honorable Mention for Stage Management at the American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) Region VI for her work on Julius Caesar.
