WHO WE AREJoshua DrewBusiness Manager Joshua Drew joined the Cultural Development Corporation (CuDC) in June 2010 as the Business Manager. He manages human resources, risk management and bookkeeping functions. This includes record-keeping in all matters affecting the financial position of CuDC, including preparation of monthly financials and annual audit. Prior to working with CuDC, Joshua was the Accounting Manager at the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC). During his time with the theatre, STC nearly doubled in size of staff and budget. Joshua managed the theatre's accounts payables and receivables and worked closely with the development of the annual budget. His work contributed to the ground breaking 2007–2008 Season with the opening of the $89 million Harman Center for the Arts. Joshua has been an actor in Washington, DC since he moved here in 2000. He has worked with many local companies including the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Rorschach Theatre, Washington Shakespeare Company, National Symphony Orchestra, dog & pony dc and The American Century Theater. In addition, he performed in the 2009 Source Festival Artistic Blind Date production of Unscheduled Track Maintenance. A native Iowan, Joshua earned a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University with a double major in Performing Arts and Mathematics.
