Cara Pomponio Director of Development Cara Pomponio joined CuDC in July of 2007 as the Director of Development. In this role she is responsible for ensuring that CuDC reaches its contributed income goals through donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, government sources and special events. Prior to joining CuDC, she was the Associate Director of Development/Director of Institutional Relations for Washington Performing Arts Society where she was responsible for raising $3.5 million in contributed income from corporate, foundation and government funders. Cara previously served as the Program Officer for the Smithsonian Institution’s Corporate Membership Program and also worked at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Arena Stage. Cara is a board member for Taffety Punk Theatre Company. A native of McLean, Virginia, Cara has a BA in French Literature from Boston College and an MSM from National-Louis University. She lives in Washington, DC. |
