Benjamin Bellas: losing something you never had

Flashpoint Gallery | 916 G Street NW

**Flashpoint Gallery will close early at 3:30pm on Tuesday, December 11**

losing something you never had is an installation inspired by the artist’s uncle who was lost at sea during the Vietnam War. The installation will be comprised of sculptures, videos, artifacts and photographs. Objects range from documents and maps related to the event to his uncle’s personal effects, but go beyond documentation to offer a broader meditation on loss and searching.

There will be an opening reception on Friday, November 9 from 6-8PM.
