CuDC can propose a specialized scope of services that may include:

Needs Assessment. Working with owners and developers to assess their arts requirements in conjunction with their particular property, its other tenants, the aesthetic, and the physical and financial constraints.

Facilitation. Acting as a liaison between arts organizations and community stakeholders to help all parties better understand financial, physical and programmatic expectations and the realities of real estate development for arts uses.

Creating Options. Exploring the conceptual viability of arts-use alternatives and/or mixed-use combinations for rehabilitation of existing buildings and new construction.

Analysis. Providing a written analysis of each alternative, and as appropriate, including informal site plans, development project pro formas, a list of potential financial resources, and a quantification approximate economic benefit to the neighborhood.

Access. Providing introductions to artists and arts organizations that may be prospective tenants for the property, along with background information on prospective tenants' financial and programmatic capacity.

Advocacy. Advocating for arts projects before representatives of the District government, private foundations, corporations, and arts organizations. In addition, we assist with recruiting potential owners, developers, and/or tenants. Working to educate the community and garner public support arts development projects.
