CuDC can provide individual technical assistance to artist groups, arts-related businesses and cultural organizations to help in every stage of the facilities planning process. CuDC staff works with these clients to define their facilities needs in conjunction with their artistic programs and available resources. This process begins with the potential client submitting a facilities questionnaire. Once space needs information is received in writing, then we will schedule an initial meeting to get better acquainted, answer questions and discuss the ways in which CuDC can assist. Assistance may include facilitating the creation of a physical program and a business plan or assessing the available space options within client-defined parameters. All arts entities who have submitted space needs information are eligible to be referred to landlords, developers etc. seeking arts tenants. We can also make referrals to other arts consultants for board development, fundraising and capital campaign assistance. Red Circle members receive four free hours of facilities planning assistance per year. After the initial four hours, our fee for service is based on a sliding scale.
