Black Box
A flexible 60-seat black box features modular risers with chairs. Configurations include thrust, proscenium and in the round. The space also comes with one dressing room, full lighting, sound and communication system inventory. The space can accommodate rentals ranging from plays/musicals, staged readings, screenings, live music, improvised comedy and dance recitals. Technical and front of house staff are not provided. Events may require an event manager or technical liaison provided by venue at cost to the licensee.
Dance Studio
400-square feet of open space with 13-foot ceilings. This versatile, column-free space is equipped with mirrors and a sprung floor with marley covering. Suitable for a variety of dance styles or simply as a comfortable rehearsal space. Recommended occupancy of 20 active and 30 seated.
Gallery
900-square feet, appropriate for standing receptions for up to 150 people. Innovative exhibits make a beautiful and comfortable environment for business meetings or social gatherings. The gallery shares a movable wall with the Mead Theatre Lab that can be combined for a capacity of over 200.
Conference room
A comfortable conference room, seats up to 12 people. Phone and high speed internet access available.
Private Rentals
If you crave a creative, artistic environment, the venues at Flashpoint may be the perfect place to hold your next party! Private rentals include each respective space’s full equipment inventory in addition to an experienced staff member on site for the duration of your event. No in house or preferred caterer. Recommendations for catering services available.
