Flashpoint Gallery showcases bold, new work and cultivates emerging and mid-career artists working in a variety of media including site-specific installations, performance pieces, new media and other experimental forms. As a nonprofit gallery free from the constraints of commercial expectations, Flashpoint encourages artists and curators to take creative risks.
Each exhibition season is recommended by a panel of eminent arts professionals who review each proposal, select exhibitions and mentor artists. Staff provides guidance and coaching throughout the application process.
We’re currently accepting proposals for our 2015-16 Season (that’s September 2015 through August 2016)!
Here’s how it works:
- Phase I – Artists will submit preliminary information for staff review and a $30 application fee. Due October 14, 2014.
- Phase II – Select artists will be invited to submit full proposals for review by our Advisory Panel.
- Artists will receive final notification in Spring 2015.
QUESTIONS? We’re here to help.
