The Anti-Gala celebrates and supports the Capital Artist Residency. Launched in 2021, the annual initiative sponsors, promotes, and houses one visual or multidisciplinary artist of color for 1 to 3 months each year in Washington, DC, offering a space tailored for the artist to develop and amplify their unique perspective from a national platform.
The residency culminates with a show or performance in our signature Mobile Art Gallery or Source Theatre.
