Mobile Art Gallery at Mount Vernon Triangle: Nara Park!

  • Milian Park 499 Massachusetts Ave NW Washington DC 20001 US (map)

CulturalDC and the Mt. Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District are excited to host the latest exhibit in the Mobile Art Gallery: Nara Park’s ‘Enduring Marks’!

Nara’s stunning installation pays homage to early humans’ expressions through cave painting. She has created large digital prints of her childhood drawings on rocky surfaces and will drape the sheets from ceiling to floor, calling on participants to engage with the concepts of youth and ancestry.

Nara Park is a sculptor and installation artist living and working in Washington, DC. One of the area’s most prominent rising young artists, Park’s artwork was recently acquired by The Phillips Collection. Learn more about Park’s work at naraparkstudio.com.

The Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District (MVT CID) is a private, nonprofit organization established to enhance the overall quality of life for residents, employees, visitors, and property owners in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood of Downtown DC. Their sponsors for this event include Pepco and Equity Residential.

CulturalDC’s Mobile Art Gallery stays with MVT CID at Milian Park through February 1. Gallery hours Wednesday-Sunday, 11-7pm.
