Mobile Art Gallery & Community Kick-Off at Mount Vernon Triangle: Nara Park!

  • Milian Park 499 Massachusetts Ave NW Washington DC 20001 US (map)

CulturalDC and the Mt. Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District are excited to host the Community Kick-Off for the latest exhibit in the Mobile Art Gallery: Nara Park’s ‘Enduring Marks’!

Kick-Off will feature Mount Vernon Triangle restaurant bites, family-friendly performances and Nara’s stunning installation. Her transformation of the gallery pays homage to early humans’ expressions through cave painting. She has created large digital prints of her childhood drawings on rocky surfaces and will drape the sheets from ceiling to floor, calling on participants to engage with the concepts of youth and ancestry.

**The event is free, but we would appreciate you RSVPing through Eventbrite!

Guests will receive special offers ONLY ON NOVEMBER 16 at the following participating MVT area restaurants before, during, and after the event by showing their Eventbrite ticket confirmation (or a postcard from the gallery):
